HoverTap™ MD is a medical touchscreen module for display and equipment manufacturers: touch and in-air gesture through sterile drapes, surgical and nitrile gloves, and fluids on the surface, on imaging carts, ceiling arms and bedside monitors. TIPSO™ AirPad is a finished, FDA-cleared controller for intra-procedural image navigation inside the sterile field. Both use electric field sensing to read the fingertip in a 3D volume, with no camera.
Sensor in a frame fitted around a screen
HoverTap™ MD is a touch and in-air gesture sensor that integrators bond to their own medical display or fit as a frame around it. It reads the fingertip in 3D space through up to 20 mm of cover glass and air gap, so zoom, pan and scroll work under a drape without dragging, and taps and swipes work in the air above the glass. HDMI in, USB HID out; UL 62368-1 at component level, with IEC 60601 carried by the finished device.

TIPSO™ AirPad provides a palm-sized, portable solution for convenient control of image navigation, allowing placement inside the sterile field. Touchless finger movements over the sensing surface enable activation of a routine set of controls to interact with procedural imaging to meet the everyday demands.
